Coronavirus (Covid-19) Update
*Therapy sessions are now taking place in clinic or online using a secure video meeting room platform.
Sessions in clinic are socially distanced, Your therapist will wear a mask and we would request you also wear a mask if you are able to do so.
The general principles anyone can follow to help prevent the spread of respiratory viruses include:
Washing your hands often - with soap and water, or use alcohol sanitiser if hand washing facilities are not available. This is particularly important after taking public transport.
- Also covering your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throwing the tissue in a bin. (“catch it, bin it, kill it” advice)
We recommend :
Anybody with a temperature at or over 38 degrees needs to self isolate for 14 days.
Anybody developing a new and continuous cough needs to seld isolate for 14 days.
Anybody who has visited a Category 1 area in the last 14 days (or if somebody who resides with them has travelled back from such an area) needs to self isolate for 14 days.
Anyone who has visited a Category 2 area in the last 14 days (or if somebody who resides with them has travelled back from such an area) need to be vigilant about symptoms and how they feel. If displaying symptoms, self-isolate for 14 days.
Anybody who has been in direct contact with a confirmed case needs to self-isolate for 14 days. Direct contact is defined as close proximity (1 metre or less) for a period of time (15 minutes or more)
